Ninja Warrior Training in New York City!

All Levels are Welcome: Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced

New York City Ninja Academy teaches ninja techniques for swinging, climbing, agility, balance, strength, and Warped Wall technique, with the eventual goal of conquering an entire course. Obstacles mimic those seen on American Ninja Warrior, and rotate every week for new challenges. All are welcome, from beginners to advanced athletes preparing for competition.

Adult & Teen Ninja Warrior Obstacle Training Classes Ages 13+

90 Minute Classes : Wednesdays 7:30pm, Fridays 7:15pm, Saturdays 7:30pm (subject to seasonal change)
Open Gym* for Experienced Ninjas :  Tuesdays 7-9pm

Advance reservation required for all classes.
*You must have attended at least one adult class before registering for open gym, or be a competitive and advanced ninja.

Ninja Fitness, OCR & Obstacle Course Race Training Ages 13+

Ninja Fitness Intro is your chance to dip a toe in the waters of ninja training (unlike falling in the water on American Ninja Warrior)! Classes consist of bodyweight and equipment circuits designed to build strength and target muscles needed for ninja warrior obstacles. Each class will introduce a new obstacle, and will be specifically tailored around strength and conditioning to perform those obstacles. Class is open to all levels.

Learn how to overcome ninja warrior obstacles by analyzing, approaching, and eventually conquering obstacles one by one. Ninjas will learn new skills and techniques for climbing, swinging, agility, balance, and strength, and will learn to propel themselves from one point to another, eventually conquering an entire obstacle course. Not only is ninja warrior training a thrilling physical challenge at all skill levels, it’s also a mental challenge, and an innovative approach to setting, achieving, and surpassing personal goals.


  • Shorts, sweatpants, athletic pants of any kind, with T-shirt or tank top.
  • Sneakers only, preferably soft rubber bottom soles with minimal tread. No one is allowed on the floor mats without sneakers.
  • Sneakers must have laces; no slip ons.
  • Long hair must be tied back.
  • No jewelry.
  • No gloves.

Sneakers required. No off-brand black tread, please. Recommended Ninja Footwear: New Balance 880, Zante (if available), Tempo, Prevail, Arishi, or any Fresh Foam New Balance, Str/ke Mvmnt, Adidas Samba, Merrill Vapor Glove.
